Scheduled Samples

Overview

Scheduled samples come from each stream's sampling schedule. On days a sample is due, a Create Sample task appears in your task list.

Important: Log the sample in Validere before you run any tests on it. A test submitted for a sample that has not been logged will not attach to it.

Log a scheduled sample (mobile)

  1. Open the sampling task from the Home or Tasks page.

  2. Press Start Form.

  3. Select the Container Type (Pressurized or Atmospheric).
  4. For a pressurized sample, select the container. The short code is filled in from that container.
  5. If the container is not yet in the Validere inventory, choose the generic container option and enter your own custom short code. Use this same short code when you run tests on this sample.
  6. Fill in any other fields your site uses (for example tank, riser, or batch ID).
  7. If the form includes online analyzer readings, fill them in. These sections are at the bottom of the form.
  8. Submit.

Streams that need more than one sample

Some streams are configured to need two samples (for example higher-risk sample points). The task name shows the count, such as [1/2]     . The second task ([2/2]     ) appears only after the first sample is logged.
