Orphan Tests

Overview

An orphan test is a test that did not attach to a sample, usually because the stream or short code on the test does not match a logged sample. Reassign orphan tests in the web app.

Reassign an orphan test

1. Go to Dashboards > Orphan Tests.

1. Click Form Submission Link for the test you want to reassign.
2. Click Edit.
3. Under Stream on which measurement is taken, search for and select the correct stream.
4. Confirm the short code is correct.
5. Click Save Edits.

1. When asked whether to retrigger workflows, choose Update submission and trigger new workflow(s). This associates the test with its sample.

If you save without retriggering workflows, the submission updates but the test may still not attach to the sample.
