Instrument Calibration and Validation

Overview

Calibration and validation settings live on the instrument. Some fields are set by the user. Others update automatically when an Instrument Calibration form is submitted, or when a test is submitted on a validation stream.

The pick lists below are a typical example. Your account may use a subset or different labels.

When an instrument is calibrated, log it in Validere with the Instrument Calibration form (mobile or web).

Log a calibration on mobile

  1. Go to Forms > Instrument Calibration > Instrument Calibration.
  2. Tap Start Form.
  3. User and Calibration Frequency auto-populate. Frequency fills in after you enter the site and instrument.
  4. Enter Site, Instrument, and Calibration Date.
  5. Submit.

Log a calibration on the web

  1. Go to Forms > Categories > Instrument Calibration.
  2. Open the Instrument Calibration template.
  3. Click Create Submission.
  4. User and Calibration Frequency auto-populate. Frequency fills in after you enter the site and instrument.
  5. Enter Site, Instrument, and Calibration Date.
  6. Click Submit.
