Unit Preferences

Introduction

To manage the preferred units or decimal precision of a measurement type in your organization account. Navigate to Settings -> Measurement Types.

Company vs User Unit Preference

The unit preferences can be viewed using the two tabs (My Company, My User) on the Measurement Type page.

Unit preferences can be managed for the entire Company or Individual Users. If a User Unit Preference and a Company Unit Preference are both set, the User Unit Preference will take priority to determine what is displayed within the product.

How to Edit a Unit Preference

1. When you hover over a row, a pencil and trash bin icon will appear. Click on the 'pencil' icon to update a Unit Preference.

2. Select the new Unit Preference and decimal precision and click 'Update'
