Uploading Form Responses in Bulk

Introduction

There are use cases where you will not want to submit a form one at a time and prefer to complete them in bulk. This is supported through the import action on forms. This can be used to mass onboard historical leak events, or onboard all health and safety incidents from the last month.

Uploading Form Submissions in Bulk

1. To start uploading form submissions in bulk, we first have to download the import template. Click on import

2. Download the template by clicking on 'Download Import Template'

3. The import template will have a column for each question from the form. Important formatting notes:
   1. The required fields column headers are displayed in pink
   2. The optional fields column headers are displayed in white
   3. The tooltips contain details on how the field should be formatted. eg date fields in YYYY-MM-DD
   4. Dropdowns in the form will be dropdowns in the excel template
   5. Attachments can not be added in bulk
   6. Each line item will be one form submission in the application. (500 rows = 500 form submissions)

4. After you populate the excel file, you will open the same modal from step 2 and upload the file. After the file has been uploaded, click on Import Data.
