How to Navigate the Product

The Validere platform allows you to manage and optimize operations and emissions using a single data ecosystem - Validere establishes a unified ecosystem for emissions and operations data that serves as the single source of truth powering use cases across the entire organization. Data such as volumes, qualities, operating conditions, and asset specifications can be used to generate reports, derive insights, or inform decisions and actions according to a user’s needs.


This guide will act as a starting point on how to navigate the product. 

Sidebar Navigation

The sidebar nav organizes all of the data within Validere into the following folders. An important note: Features may not be visible in your account based on the use case you have purchased a Validere subscription for. Please contact your Validere Representative to inquire about missing pages.


Home

Home is where you will land after you log into the product. The home page contains an overview dashboard of the GHG emissions at your organization.

Dashboards

Dashboards are where your custom stock dashboards will live. These dashboards are built by your Validere account team to deliver insights based on the data within your account. Example dashboards that are often requested are emissions overview, volume overview, carbon tax obligations, or data quality QA dashboards.

Organization

Organization is a digital representation of your assets organized into facilities, equipment, flows, networks and devices. On Facilities, Equipment and Flows you have an additional tab called Records where you will enter your operational conditions and gas analysis to enable volumetric and emissions accounting.

Calculations

Calculations contain two child pages. The first page called calculations is where you will execute your volumetric and emissions quantification and will perform detailed QA of your results. The second page is the estimation method list which displays the quantification methodology configured on each equipment and flow.

Reports

Reports will contain all of your regulatory and voluntary report exports under templated reports and custom analysis will live under saved custom reports. This is your main spot to get the data needed to provide to regulators, auditors or look for trends within your emissions or volumetric data.

Forms

Forms contain preconfigured templates to collect measurement data based on your use case. Common data that is collected via forms is gas analysis, leak events, non routine events or health and safety events.

Workflows

Workflows can be configured to create tasks for users. Users can use this part of the product to see the tasks they are responsible for completing and when the associated due date is.  These workflows can be enabled for many use cases such as leak detection and repair where tasks are assigned to user who needs to do the leak survey and users who needs to do the repair. Other use cases include monthly tasks required to quantify volumetric and emissions quantification.

Data Tools

Data Tools allows you to debug errors from uploading bulk files or automatic data connections via SFTP or an API. Use this page to view the error message to determine what action is required to either fix the automatic connection or fix the data within your excel file for ingestion. 

Change Log

Change Log will display all changes to Asset data within Validere for audibility.
