Manual Entry

Introduction

Validere Operations Hub (Validere 360) streamlines the ingestion of measurement data from all sources.

  • Third Party Labs supports creation of chains of custody and importing lab files after 3rd party test results are available
  • Instruments supports benchtop field instruments, inline analyzers and virtual analyzers

While not the preferred method, Validere Operations Hub supports manually entering measurement data in scenarios such as internet connectivity issues, missing instrument firmware updates, or pending SCADA integrations. Information on importing Third Party Lab results can be found here.

Adding Field Test Measurements

Field test measurements can be added to Validere Operations Hub if a field instrument already exists. If these are not yet shown, please contact support@validere.com to setup all necessary configurations.

To add field test measurements:

  1. Select a sample by adding a new sample, or re-use an existing sample if multiple tests apply to the same physical sample
  2. Select the instrument. You can type in the input to filter the results in the dropdown.
  3. Input the date and time of the test.
    1. This will use the time settings of the account submitting the measurement.
  4. Select measurements, the composition or property that is being measured by the field instrument. You can type in the input to filter the results in the dropdown. The list of results will already be filtered based on the supported measurements for that instrument.
  5. Enter the measurement value, and if relevant, the measuring temperature.
  6. Click Finish to submit the measurement.

Adding Inline Measurements

Inline measurements can be added to Validere Operations Hub if a stream and inline instrument already exists. If these are not yet shown, please contact support@validere.com to setup all necessary configurations.

To add inline measurements:

  1. Select the stream that the measurement entry will apply to
  2. Input the date and time of the measurement.
    1. This will use the time settings of the account submitting the measurement.
  3. Select measurement type, the composition or property that is being measured by the inline instrument. You can type in the input to filter the results in the dropdown.
  4. Select inline instrument. You can type in the input to filter the results in the dropdown.
  5. Enter a measurement value.
  6. Optionally add another measurement
    1. The previously selected stream continues to apply.
    2. The date and timemeasurement type, inline instrument and value can all be adjusted depending on the use case. Additional data points on the same inline instrument may only have differing date and time, whereas additional data points from the same time may have different measurement types.
    3. A measurement can be removed If there are multiple open entries.
  7. Click Finish to submit the measurements.

Adding a Component Analysis

Components can be added to Validere Operations Hub to be used in sample selections for accounting records.

To add a component analysis:

  1. Enter sample information in the fields on the left side (such as site, stream and sample time)
  2. Enter sample properties in the fields on the right side (such as inert composition, hydrocarbon composition).
    1. Composition must add up to 100%
    2. Ensure to use proper production accounting methods when selecting samples
